Today, if you own a prized E-body or B-body Mopar, it can be difficult to consider doing anything else to it other than a factory restoration. But in the Mopar fraternity there are those who beat to the sound of a different drum, folks like Kevin Smith. Although he wrenches on high-end European stuff during the day, running VW and Audi's technical center in Auburn Hills, Michigan, on the evenings and weekends, you can often find him tinkering under the hood of his beloved 1968 Road Runner.

Says Kevin, "I've always been a Mopar guy. Growing up in Detroit in the 1970s, there was a lot of street racing
